Is a bad cup of coffee better than no coffee at all?

I probably should have added 'in certain predicaments'. before the first two or three A-muggers answered.

  • No way! Bad coffee is just bad coffee and I've had my share. I would rather have nothing than drink lousy coffee. Yuk!

I've drunk bad coffee, although not in an ideal indoor civilized situation.  I hope not to be in that predicament again.

No, no, no.  Bad coffee is like taking a drink of spoiled milk.  It is unforgettable and stays with you.

Actually, the predicament I was in stays with me more than the bad coffee I drank.

  • According to the "Terms of Service," Rule #5. Lastly, you can’t say anything bad about coffee. That’s just not cool.

Consequently, there is no such thing as "bad coffee," which makes your question unanswerable.
But if a picture is worth a thousand words ...
