George W. Bush. Classy guy. Why?

Ya gotchure high class, medium/ordinary/average/typical/everyday and low class. People come in all flavors,  colors, sizes, shapes, of class.  Bush didn't believe in dissing Clinton. He also didn't dis Obama. Trump has no problem accusing Obama of illegal activity. Where's the PROOF?  What is it about a Trump that causes him to do what he does and say what he says besides lack of class?

  • Trump has no class, I have said this all along.. He has shown us this so many times..and this is just the latest example.. but it was evident even  from before he was elected. I have no respect for anyone who behaves as he does, it's unprofessional and without class.. In fact if i had to stick my neck out and say my least fav thing about him.. it's his lack of class in his behaviour.. he has NO dignity.. I find it abhorrent.

It dishonours the country too to have a prez who behaves in such a childish spoiled-brat vindictive way. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at March 6, 2017 9:50 AM MST

He cannot help himself DdbTD. He is wired that way. The folks who voted for him knew that about him and perhaps that was WHY they elected him. They got sick and tired of a having an articulate, calm, classy prez. They wanted something very different and by golly they got what they wanted! They deserve him. The rest of us don't but we're stuck with him anyway. Life is not fair! Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday m'dear! :)

  • Oooh so if they wanted a prez without class who will make America a laughing stock and lose worldwide respect - then can we assume that those who wanted that must be pretty similar themselves? LOL best not answer that one Rosie :P

That is very fair question my friend and one that keeps puzzling me. Either they are like him or  WANT TO BE! Either way it's dangerous for the rest of us. They will clearly embrace whatever comes from Trump. It could be gawd-awful and they will think its tastes devine! SIGH. Thank you for your reply DdbTD and Happy Tuesday to thee! :)

    Hello Rosie:

It's not his lack of class that worries me...  It's his utter IGNORANCE, and I don't mean just government...  He speaks like a 4th grader.  He doesn't read books..  He has NO attention span, plus he's VINDICTIVE, and STUPID.

If he's not stopped soon, he's gonna END the world.

I agree with you excon. No surprise there since most of the time we see things similarly if not identically. The puzzling thing is his supporters. I get Trump. He's nuts. But are all of them nuts too? I don't think so. I cannot figure out why they are not as appalled by what he is/does/says as we are. He promised to keep them safe. He is a greater threat to us than any outsider and why they do not, can not, will not see that is beyond me. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday!  :)

Trump is a mental case. Bush2 is a war criminal. Interesting that neither won the popular vote.

Great observation m'dear!  But at least Bush is classy with respect to keeping his mouth shut about other presidents. Most presidents have done that as well. Refrained from criticizing the guy in the office they held. Trump just accused his predecessor of illegal/criminal activity! He is crazy of course so what he does/says comes because of his complete separation from the real world. BUT his supporters who go along with anything and everything Trump? How do you explain that? I can't. Thank you for your reply Louie and Happy Tuesday

Bush’s keeping quiet about subsequent presidents is normal, expected behavior. It doesn’t rise to “classy”, which is a cut above “normal”. Also his reticence to engage is certainly due to his own belief that, like his brother, Trump will out-shout him making him look stupid. Bush has a fear of looking stupid.

As to your other question, that is best left to a later date when I have more time - and when that important topic is more prominent on these pages and not so far down. Very good question, however.
