  • I had one of those nuisance calls from a call centre recently. When I saw it was from a private number (a dead giveaway) I answered the phone by saying, "Da?" then faked a Russian accent with very poor English, mostly designed to persuade him I wasn't worth his time. It worked. He thanked me and hung up. Must try that again. Your words would probably work just as well. I must make a list.
