Think Nikki Haley would make a good GOP candidate for prez? Would Republicans ever support a woman for head of state?
Is misogyny too prevalent in the party to ever have it consider a woman prez candidate wholeheartedly no matter how suitable/intelligent/talented she is? Why?
You mean, would Republicans support her for her gender as the more important factor over any other consideration? Probably, since they bought into Trump hook, line and sinker, it's possible. To be honest, as a conservative, I could never vote for her but I do see her as a formidable candidate. She's come a long way on her gender and ethnic background. Somehow though, there just seems to be more to consider.It's true that she's intelligent. She's been smart enough to keep folks in the southeast wondering for years who she is and what she's about. I don't live in South Carolina, but like many, I had high hopes for her. Instead of being a breath of fresh air, she turns with the shifting winds. She plays the game well and because of that she would have to be taken seriously.
