Where is Congress? Why aren't they in D.C. debating this current North Korea situation? What's up with them?

Do they always plan to stay out of it as they did with Obama? He specifically asked them for authorization to intervene in Syria and they specifically IGNORED HIM. Will they continue to chicken out and ignore Trump too? How will he get back at them if they do? Sell them all to the highest bidder? When do they start doing their jobs instead of protecting their derrieres and continuing to be do-nothings?

    Hello Rosie:

There WAS a time when congress had balls..  But, they've made themselves irrelevant at a time when we NEED their relevance..

Obama went to them hat in hand when he was prez requesting approval to intervene in Syria. They ignored him as they always did. Then Obama got excoriated for not intervening. He tried to do it the right way. They haven't changed. They are still Nowhere to be found. Off somewhere doing their thing.  SIGH. Thank you for your reply goody. Have those who are among our choices become so bad that no matter whom we choose we get  stiffed? :( Happy Sunday m'dear! :)

    Hello again, Rosie:

In these matters, there is NO right way..  Obama did what he did, and Trump is doing what he's doing.  Once congress abandoned its role, it's up to the president to fill in the gaps..  What winds up working will have been the right thing to do..

I don't have an answer, except for congress to DO ITS JOB!
