LOL! Ted Cruz!!!

Hello my:
Well, he did have that thing with his RFRA.. He thinks it's fine if a store refuses to do business with gay people. I dunno how much that'll effect his candidacy. I doubt that it will.

No, Ted Cruz would not have made a better choice. The main reason is that Cruz managed to alienate the Congress which is by definition the GOP establishment, at least for the moment. That will probably change in November. There will always be a variety of political philosophies in Congress. That's a given. Some conservatives are consensus builders, even among Liberals. Although Pence cannot and will not win a national election, he was popular among his peers in Congress and popular enough to win election statewide. He is a better spokesman for a lost cause than the abrasive Cruz.
Ted Cruz does NOT have a lot of baggage? We had to listen to him for a year. He made a total ass of himself. No worse than Trump, of course, but STILL. Who would vote for that loser? And they fought viciously and now Trump is going to embrace him? It sounds like Trump, but there was no mileage in doing that. Cruz is totally expendable.
From a Conservative point of view none m2c. He is not well-liked apparently. From what I have read he has done some things in his state that were very anti-women. I cannot give you particulars but I did read a list somewhere of the things he has done that cause people to say "he has a lot of baggage". I know that you researched him and decided that among the 3 possibilities he would be best. My question is do you think Ted Cruz would have been a better choice to balance Trump out? I read that in choosing Pence Trump just doubled down meaning he chose someone who would reflect him and his views (well his stated views) exactly
rather than balance out where he is lacking. Weren't you a Cruz fan? Thank you for your question and Happy Monday to thee! :)
Thank you for your reply excon. I read that he is not well-liked in his own state. That should tell you something. Happy Monday! :)

So you agree with treating people differently because you dislike their lifestyle even though it has nothing to do with your life nor does impact it in any way? What if yoru child were gay? Would you disown him/her? I'm going to ask that question m2c. You know Dick Cheney was anti-gay until one of his daughters came out and then he changed. If someone you loved dearly were gay would you really support preventing him/her from being treated equally, fairly, justly? T
hank you for your reply.
I read that Pence carries a lot of very heavy baggage and that in selecting him Trump merely doubled down rather than find a balance for his weaknesses. Thank you for your reply Polk! :)

Thank you for your reply Sharonna! :)
