Desperate men do desperate things to divert attention from what they fear...EXPOSURE. Trump fired Comey! How much time will that buy him?

Trump  is DESPERATELY afraid that his connections with Russia going back many decades will be exposed and so he continues to do everything he can think of to change the subject. The more desperate he gets the more outrageous will be his actions. The more intemperate/illogical/nonsensical. While he is prez he can pretty much do whatever he dam* well pleases and no one will stop him. He will just fire anyone who gets in the way. It is so obvious but not to those who worship him. They see no wrongdoing there in anything he does/says. None. Amazing how one person can be viewed so oppositely depending upon how skewed the view. Isn't it?  What will he do next as he gets desperater and desperater? Anyone else wonder too?

  • Do you actually read the content of the articles and the letters or do you just read headlines? Here is the full text of the letter that President Trump (I love saying that) sent to former Director Comey.

    Dear Director Comey,

I have received the attached letters from the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General of the United States recommending your dismissal as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, I have accepted their recommendation and you are hereby terminated and removed from office, effective immediately.

While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation, I nevertheless concur with the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau.

It is essential that we find new leadership for the FBI that restores public trust and confidence in its vital law enforcement mission.

I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors,

    Donald J. Trump

Read that middle paragraph. On three separate occasions Comey said that President Trump wasn't under investigation. That means the act of firing Comey wasn't due to desperation of getting caught in a crime or corruption. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at July 9, 2018 11:14 PM MDT
