Sunday we celebrate Mother's Day. In June we celebrate Father's Day. How about creating and celebrating Children's Day?

After al,l the raison d'etre for Mother's Day AND Father's Day are the kids, correct? Without the kids a parent you could not be. How about acknowledging the importance of children by honoring them with their very own day? That would set up an entirely NEW set of greeting cards and provide jobs for many people. Everybody wins, right? Who loses?

    Aren't birthdays kind of a kid's day?

No. Everyone has a birthday INCLUDING  mothers and fathers Patch. They get two days then and the kid gets stiffed once again! How is that fair? Thank you for your question. Did I answer it?

But mothers and fathers are the children of other people. If you're talking about young kids, a lot of holidays are already geared towards them where they get all kinds of gifts and fun activities.

That's the reason we have a Mother's day and a Father's day. Because every other day is kids day.
