Should your family pay for your sins? If people detest you do you think it's fair for them to detest and demean and disparage your family too? Why?

I think it is a human trait to look at the family of origin in the face of criminal proceedings, even though they cannot be held acountable, unless they were directly involved, most did play a huge part in how their offspring turned out.
