Philosophically speaking, I have no problem. A worm has fulfilled his role whether he drowns in a puddle, dessicates on a sidewalk. or "rides the hook"
But the older I get, the more I seem to appreciate life in all forms and I tend to try not to interfere with it directly.
Of course, I eat meat and fish that has been killed by others; and while I regret killing mosquitoes and flies, I am seldom significantly hesitant in dispatching either.
