I can't.  Because when people start to get under my skin?

I am the one that causes it.  Not them.  I have my brain.  They do not. I control my brain. They do not.

Period. I don't blame my faults on THEM.  It is ALL ME.

...except for TRUMP.  All bets are off when anyone says anything about this thing.

Here's his family dressed for his last day as President.  May it happen soon.   PLEASE GOD.

Caption:  Pope is thinking, "How and why am I in this picture?"   Or, if you prefer:  "I'm so happy to be here, I could just sh*t!" This post was edited by tom jackson at August 16, 2017 2:39 PM MDT

I try not to let it get to that point. I've identified a few who seem to show up here solely to argue, be condescending, and float around on their overinflated egos. I just steer clear and let the gasbags float elsewhere.

Believe it or not, a good friend of mine used to introduce me around like that.  He is dead now. I'm not saying anything about that part.  I swear I did not do it.

I find some positions espoused on here to be philosophically abhorrent to me.  They don't really get under my skin so much as that I simply cannot allow their reasoning to stand unchallenged.  And it's not so much the people as it is what they are talking about.

But to the extent that eventually certain people become identified with their opinions, my intellectual boundary alarms go off whenever (at most) 2-3 individuals post. This post was edited by tom jackson at August 17, 2017 3:30 AM MDT
