Oh, and feral chickens regularly wander through the yard.
Our place has a whole ecology. No poisons.

My brother has been gone for months and my sanity is almost restored except for the fact that I know he will return. UGH is right.

That is so cute. The chickens. I like the chickens. (you will never go hungry. I will teach you how to ring their necks like my great grandmother used to. They would run around the yard for a few minutes with no heads) Or you can just use the eggs.
