Broadcasting is a word with which we are familiar. Narrowcasting is what someone does who has a very narrow base and panders to it. Smart?

The narrow base is very rigid. There is no way it will ever be expanded/enlarged so don't waste a second even trying. Just keep shoring up the rigid narrow and be content with that since that is all you are ever going to get. Makes sense?
