Two weeks ago when my grandsons great grandparents went out of town for two weeks and i didnt get one day off from taking care of him. I didnt even get to go to the gym. They usually get him for a few hours a day to let me get a few things done around the house, and i get to swim too. Those two weeks i didnt get one break. Two year olds take alot of energy. :))
I removed wallpaper (the worst job in the world) from two rooms before my contractor started........I was helping, you know. Save a little labor money. Not. He came in and talked me into replacing all of the drywall.
Many moons ago, the company I worked for had a major emergency and invoked a mandatory work schedule to solve the problem. We worked seven days a week for three & a half months ... 12 hrs. M-F and 10 hrs. Sat. & Sunday.
Not that physical. I was carrying a heavy, but small, fixture and because I was so tired I decided to carry it on my shoulder, instead of in front of me. While walking with it, I decided to change shoulders and with both hands started to lift it over my head to the other shoulder. As it reached it's apex, I got sharp pains in my chest and it scared me. I told the Boss and he called the medics.
And now you know the rest of the story. :)

I agree the teaching part is fun. Now there is so much more paperwork that needs to be filled out sometimes, I feel like a data entry clerk, backwards planning with the common core standards in mind takes a long time to keep children engaged with rigorous lessons and always being pushed by administration to keep test scores up because the schools are graded by how students do on the tests. And teachers are also graded on how well their students do on the tests. It would be nice if I could just teach.
