It would have to be a really awful person for me to not vote for my party's candidate.  Of course, in the case of McCain/Palin, I would have voted for Kermit and Miss Piggy before I would have voted for either of them.

    Happy Sunday, Rosie. :)

Depends on the candidate's health. The veep is second in line so is important.

  • I've never been persuaded to vote for someone because of the number two spot. Now more than ever that's the case.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Gee Spunky I LOVE Kermit and I think Miss Piggy, while not a perfect candidate, has some charm and a certain je ne sais qois. I think her heart is in the right place even if sometimes she blurts things out that are surprising! Thank you for your lively answer m'dear!  :)

They certainly couldn't be worse than what we're looking at now. :)

I dunno. Sarah Palin rather than Mike Pence? John Edwards (you know the guy who cheated on his dying wife and impregnated his mistress while running for prez?) rather than Tim Kaine. I think that would be worse.

I almost did not vote for Bill Clinton because of Al Gore being picked as VP.... because of music censorship issues with his wife.
I was encouraged to vote for McCain because of Palin as VP....McCain is a RINO.

So yes a VP pick could influence me to not vote or to vote for a candidate. Using the assumption that VP pick leads to how they will govern.
