Plastic surgery can transform a plain Jane into a beauty. A plan John into a hunk. What happens if they marry and have kids? The kids have plastic surgery too so that the pretense continues? Vanity surgery is different from reconstructive surgery to correct a deformity. The actress Jennifer Grey had a nose job after Dirty Dancing and she became unrecognizable and regretted having it done. Or so she said years ago. Cookie cutter beauty is available to anyone at a price. Show the plastic surgeon a picture of what you want to look like and I guess if it's possible for him/her to do it it gets done. Then you can look like every other pretty girl or every other good-looking guy. But don't you lose your individuality? A nose job for Barbra Streisand? She could have had it done but chose not to do so. What do you think? Why?
Ode on a Grecian Urn by John Keats
