Should I adopt a Puerto Rican street dog as a companion for Harry?

Harry has been learning how to play with other dogs since I adopted him a year ago.  He's finally relaxing and enjoying himself.   (Although I suspect he's only relaxing because the vet put him on Prozac).  

Anywho, I've been thinking it might be time to get him a companion.  I've been considering adopting from a local group that saves Puerto Rican street dogs.  But I'm worried they won't get along due to the language barrier.  Harry doesn't speak or understand Spanish.  Any suggestions on how to train him to speak Spanish? Do you know if they make a Rosetta Stone for dogs?  Have any links? Help a girl out willya? ;-)

  • Relationships with language barriers are the besterest for temperamental people. cos when you lose your temper... you always go back to mother language and other person has no idea what kinda bat shizzat crazy words you're screaming. So probably same for dogs too then. So yes, you should get that dog then.:)

    Not that I'm disagreeing mind you but, Puerto Rico is a U.S. Territory.  He was talking about Mexicans when he made that ignorant comment.

    OMG Veena!  How cute! Thanks for posting that video.  I want to take them all home.  Even the ones barking and baring their teeth! Especially that silly looking boxer two-thirds of the way in!
