Some folks have insisted from DAY ONE that Trump was a New York Democrat. Maybe they're right. He knows his base won't abandon him. Right?

He can come out of the closet and start working with Dems more and more. His base is solid and they're gonna stick with him no matter how LIBERAL he becomes and he could attract some Dems by doing that. Maybe. Republicans and Conservatives won't be too thrilled but so what? Remember they are the ones who elected him. They own him. Whatever iteration of him shows up each day is due to them. Of course his siding with the Dems this one time because he wasn't getting what he wanted from the Republicans may very well be that proverbial one-note Charlie, one-trick pony, one-hit wonder, one-horse town and we may never see it again. On the other hand he might keep doing it to make progress and have things he can point to as having accomplished during his administration. Stay tuned. It could get very interesting! Maybe we the people do have a champion in the White House and he was waiting for the right moment to reveal himself!  Wouldn't that be a hoot-and-a-half? :)

    His base will abandon him in 5 seconds flat if they stop liking him. And if he dont get his Trump-wall built they will probably stop liking him.

    You asked me yesterday if I were sure that the Facebook report that Russians had purchased $100,000 of political ads were true and I said I wasn't certain. I am today. It is all over the news. Surely you have read it too. It seems  Russians set up that phonybaloney crap as well as an unknown number of bots pretending to be humans with accounts that turned out to be fake just to influence gullible Americans (of whom there are clearly many) to dislike Hillary and LOVE Trump. It was in the works for a couple of years. The Russians really wanted Trump in office as prez because he would be so obviously controllable. They got what they wanted. The number of fronts the Russians got involved in just to make sure Trump won is amazing. Don't know how much they spent dollar-wise but it apparently was worth every ruble. Of course going forward they will be doing the same thing only getting better at it. America isn't their only target of course...just the most important one. All those who believed the bots were humans and the lies put out there to sway them away from Hillary and into the arms of Trump should be ashamed of themselves. Russians BOUGHT the election for Trump. The scandals are far worse than we thought. SIGH. Thank you for your reply JakobA and Happy Friday. The only consolation will be if any/all who colluded with them are identified, charged, tried and put in jail. Has your country ever been subjected to such knavery as this?
