Nancy Pelosi is to be taken SERIOUSLY because she's only a 16-term member of the US House of Representatives and has earned the same dignity and respect as every other member, Republican or Democratic, of that august body. She served as House Minority Whip from 2002 to 2003, and was House Minority Leader from 2003 to 2007, holding the post during the 108th and 109th Congresses alongside President George W. Bush. Pelosi is the first woman, the first Californian, and first Italian-American to lead a major party in Congress. After the Democrats took control of the House in 2007 and increased their majority in 2009, Pelosi was elected Speaker of the House for the 110th and 111th Congresses alongside Presidents Bush and Barack Obama.
Just because she's been elected and held different positions doesn't mean she's sane or intelligent. The woman routinely makes absurd and stupid statements. She doesnt have both oars in the water. I don't like 97% of politicians, but I detest her far more than most. It says enough about California since they keep electing her.
Can you cite even one specific absurd or stupid statement (according to you) that she has made? Maybe provide a link? Or are you just spewing nonsense without being hampered by actual, you know, facts? Overlooking whatever it is that causes you to write so poorly (take her serious, really?), that you are unable to grasp that anybody who accomplishes such a level of success as she has is at the very least sane and intelligent, much less highly intelligent and exceptionally skilled in politics and interpersonal relationships and deserving the dignity and respect of her high office, is your problem and says more about you than about her or anyone else.
Have you achieved any level of success in your life that qualifies you to be so judgmental of someone such as Ms. Pelosi, or anyone else for that matter?
Have you ever paid attention to her? Unless you're a left-wing nut job it's rather obvious isn't all there. Sorry to burst your bubble, but being a longtime politician doesn't equate success. She hasn't done a Darn thing for this country. Teachers, doctors, law enforcement, military arenfar more successful than she is. She's a career politician.
