.
I just love this song. IT breaks my heart.
WOW we picked the same guy.
I've always liked "Dust in the wind", by Kansas. It reminds me how small we are in the cosmos, I usually will use the metaphor, "We're just a grain of sand".
Not an anthem but this in dance, Tango.
I prefer the music Tango Flamenco by Paco de Lucia.
I recently had my first ever Tango lesson.
Amazing!
33 years with Ari summed up in the first 3 steps we took!
I've decided that Tango is THE ultimate guide to better relationships.
It doesn't feel the way it looks.
It turns all kinds of preconceptions on their heads.
And it works! :) :) :)
I've got to offer more than one to provide a more well-rounded example. I'll narrow it down to one band... One album...
Aw, shoot. Two albums. Mostly one, though.
It would have to be "Water Woman" (recorded by Spirit and one or two other bands). It has the lyrics "Water's the only way, water's the only way, follow the fish today, see what he has to say". What other song has such a vivid reference to my star sign?
Anything by the Kinks is OK by me, and anything from the Village Green Preservation Society is even better. That is one of my all-time favourite albums ever made. :)
Neil Young, classic!
He's got a song for every mood and manner.
This was a "cover" which didn't work for me. Without the somber early-80s electronica, I think an essential part is missing.
Not literally, but certainly the spirit...;-D...
T.G. Sheppard - "I Loved 'Em Every One"
"I can't get no Satisfaction."...Stones.
Ha, Ha!
What kind of satisfaction do you need?
The adult kind I don't, won't and can't offer.
But if it's human interaction, I'm willing to give it a try and see how it goes.
I've lived with depression on and off all my life,
so I have some idea where you might be at.
Try giving me a try.
No guarantees, but if you have no satisfaction, the great advantage is that you can't end up with less.
I listened to that - as carefully as I could considering the tinny sound on this dammed laptop.
I tried to match the words to the context of the question and your qualifying comment -
and so now I'm more cofused than ever.
But I guess that was the intent.
Did you ever consider writing cryptic crosswords for a living?
They're my downfall. Never managed to complete even one. ;)
