    Im not lazy, nor am I going to seize complaining when i feel like complaining. Im a convinced felon, therefore, i had my voting rights removed. If i could, i would vote, because i WANT someone who will stand up for people like me, who get their voting rights taken away from them for smoking a little pot, and i do mean a little. ;(

    I think felons after completing their sentence and then stay out of trouble for a period of time, should have their voting rights restored. 
    Have you that about moving to a state that does that?

    Can you imagine the expense of doing that would entail? Its not worth it really. My family is already established, and all i can say is, they are the losers. Im looking into getting my gun rights restored, this is REALLY important to me as a woman that stays alone with a baby at home a lot, which my late husband was going to help me do (he was an attorney) but it costs a pretty penny to do so. It may be worth it though.

    I understand.   I have been told there are only 2 states that do not have some sort of process of giving back voting rights...not sure which two they are. You might look into it perhaps you are not in one of the 2 states.

    It sucks, but either way, its all good. Im happy, nothing is going to interfere with  my inner peace. Vote or no, gun or no. Life is good. ;)

    A convicted FELON? For smoking pot?  They took away your right to vote for THAT? That's crazy. Thank you for your reply cp and Happy Sunday to thee. Of course my question can't possibly be applicable to you.  You would vote if you could. Right?

    I rarely vote in primaries, but I always vote in the general elections because I do take the right to vote seriously.  My wish would be that the political parties would take putting up decent candidates as seriously as I take voting.
