    I'm a big Sci Fi fan.  Reading Heinlein, Bradbury, Huxley, Orwell, Herbert, Asimov, etc growing up was an escape for me.   But no, I never use the word earthling.   I'm a nerd, but not THAT big of one. ;-)

    You just did sweetie. When you said ...."I never use the word earthling". No it wasn't a trick question. The first time I used it was to ask this question. I think finding out the derivation of words is really fascinating. Don't you? Thank you for your reply Harry! :)
