Is nothing human alien to you? Why?

Publius Terentius Afer, aka TERENCE, was a Roman Playwright. Among his writings were these most famous words

" I am human and I think that nothing of that which is human is alien to me"

I disagree. There is much about human beings that is alien to me. Do you agree with Terence? Can you explain why?

You are right, Rosie, if you accept BOTH sides.

You are saying, in effect, that choices humans make are either acceptable according to our human code, or unacceptable according to what other humans accept as honorable and worthy of being classified as human.

But we humans are capable of ANYTHING.  ANY THING that could be construed as a thought, probably has been acted out somewhere sometime.

There are no heights we are not able to achieve.  The ability to advance has no limit.

Therefore, the opposite is also true, unfortunately.  There are no depths that we are able to delve with a limit either.

You can deny, deny, deny and act like you never heard of this or that.  But I'm sure by now you have heard it all, just like I have.

There are Satanic cults that grow children just to torture them and there are sex slaves that troll the world looking for children to enslave.

Surely you cannot tell me that you have never heard of such a thing.

Anything is possible with the human brain.  That does not mean it is acceptable, it merely means we are capable of anything at all.

    Its terrifying.
