Is being gullible a weakness/inadequacy/defect? Do gullible people DESERVE what they get?

What about those who are not gullible but are affected by what the gullible people think, do, say?  The ungullible are innocent bystanders but have to pay for the gullibility of others too. How is that fair?

Who said life is fair? Woe to he who expects that.

Gullibility IS a weakness, one that can be overcome by knowlege and application of fortitude. If one is gullible enough to let life be handed to them, then yes, they deserve exactly what they get. Either act to correct the gullible, or get clear of their wake.

Easier said than done. We who get caught in the net of their weakness are affected too. Witness this. Donald John Trump is prez. We who did NOT vote for him got him anyway. It was without our consent. We were not gullible. We are victims of the gullible. That happens. Thank you for your reply Don B! :) This post was edited by RosieG at September 23, 2017 6:35 AM MDT
