Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» The Donald John is either purposely or DOOFUSLY trying to start a race war. Now he tells his worshippers NOT to attend NFL games. Willya?
Now he is fighting with the NFL? I know he is fighting with Lebron James who called him a BUM and Steph Curry called him an ass. That's the NBA. Now the NFL TOO?
WHO DOES THIS? Don't attend an NFL game? IS HE NUTS? What else is he going to ban?
Donald Trump Is Tearing the NFL Apart Fights. Friendships ended. Racial divides. Requirements not to talk about a combustible candidate on team property. B/R Mag’s examination of the football locker room electorate reveals that America’s most popular sport is just as politically divided as the nation itself

Yep. He is taking on the NFL and NBA and everyone else who doesn't see things his way. There is this minor little obstacle called the FIRST AMENDMENT to the Constitution which guarantees the right of peaceably assembling. But why let that get in his way? He is a DESPOT who is desperately trying to transform our government into a dictatorship. AARRGGHH! Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday. I wonder what nifty new tricks Doofus Donny the Dotard has up his sleeve? :(
Well sofar the senate have blocked him on most every move he tried to make, hos followers are probably more obedient (except for those who are NFL fans)
He is gutting the First Amendment. I'm sure he doesn't realize it since his brain/mind is empty of any knowledge or historical facts. It is our RIGHT to peaceably assemble. He wants to abrogate that to suck up to his base? He is a DESPOT at heart and is trying very hard to transform our government into a Dictatorship. His adorers don't give a rat's a** what he does. SIGH. Thank you for your reply JakobA! :)
Has he tried to make a law against watching NFL games? That would be clearly contrary to the constitution (and get thrown out first time it was challenged), but even the president have the right to have opinions. We all have out likes and dislikes, Personally I find professional wrestling disgusting, it is always rigged to the point where it is more performance than sport, Yet Donald even participated in that (remember the video of him Knocking out a journalist), He can like or dislike whatever he wants. But I very much doubt even he would be so stupid as to try and make it mandatory to agree with his likes and dislikes.

Maybe he'll try to do it by "Executive Order" like Obama did so many times? In all fairness the First Amendment only prohibits Congress from making laws restricting religious freedom, the Press and Assembly for redress of grievances. It doesn't place any such restrictions on the President when he (or she) attempts to legislate by Executive Order, or on the Court system's interpretation of any laws for that matter . . . .
Obama set the precedent. But I don't think that Trump will violate the spirit of the Supreme Law of the Land. Only a liberal Democrat would be that arrogant and stupid, which brings us back to Obama.
Not yet but he advocates firing the sons of bit**es who disrespect the flag. His words, not mine. I'm sure if he thought he could get away with it he would do that. He is a despot and all despots want total power and control. As for "so stupid" he is certainly that but then his worshippers support/defend whatever The Little Donald John's heart desires. Whatever. It doesn't matter. As long as he wants it they think he should have it/get/do it/say it. Are they stupid? Well I leave that to you determine. Thank you for your reply JakobA and Happy Tuesday! :)
He doesn't have the guile or intellect for that in my opinion Zack. He certainly is a perfect puppet though. Ideal in fact. His Achilles heel is his endless need for love/affection/approbation/support. Endless. He is a bottomless pit of need and anyone who gives him any attention at all OWNS him...like Vlad Putin. Lock, stock and barrel. Woe is us. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :)
I wouldn't worry too much about Trump starting a race war. I mean if someone as nefarious and underhanded as Obama tried all those times to light that fuse and mostly failed what chance does someone that you hold in such "high" regard have?
And just what does criticizing the NFL have to do with race? Where's THAT coming from? Oh, I forgot. It's all those oppressed multimillionaire players that also happen to have black skin that's the problem. Those poor dears!
And so what if the President calls for a boycott of the NFL? He has no power to make it so, NONE! If all those "fans" haven't been convinced yet to boycott the games due to those $100 (and up) tickets, the $50-dollar parking fees, $15-beers and $10-dollar hot dogs I seriously doubt that any government official calling for a boycott will have any effect.
Although if they did it might cut down on all those brain injuries from the smashing together of those helmeted heads, which brings us right back to those poor dear "oppressed" multimillionaire players and their protesting . . . .
The NFL might have to do with race because a disproportionate nr of Football players are black. The US population have something like 10% black, In the NFL team photos I could find the proportion was more like 35%
