The leader/prez of a country is its representative. If you do not respect the leader/prez how can you respect the country/flag?

Personally, I cannot.

I can live with a President I did not vote for because he honestly won.  That has not happened here.

We have been forced to obey a liar, tyrant and pig. 

There is no country that accepts this guy.  Not my country.  This thing is not my President.

No a country is not just the extension of a person.  Is counter-productive when we allow our hate to affect our patriotism or our cooperation.  After all the country will likely be here after Obama, or Trump, or the rest of us are gone.  Many  of us lived w/ Obama for eight years and we just lived our lives the best we could without acting out of making idiots of ourselves.  Now that someone is in whom we can more respect and live with will you not allow us the same courtesy?
