.
Good question!
I want to say that having company is better. That's what I'd like to say. You know, because of support and all that good stuff.
Thank you for the compliment NHP. I've had experience with both. I was fine alone and happy and content but every once in awhile I'd get a little wistful. Jim and I have been together since September 1, 1997 and I must say it's better for me personally with someone than without. But I'm 78 so maybe that has something
to do with how much I appreciate having a partner to share the journey in life. Thank you for your reply! :)
I'm a bit of both.
I like feeling the company of my husband very much - it's friendly and comfortable 95% of the time.
But I also like a lot of solo time - to attend to tasks or animals, and to write or read.
And I like contact with other friends - it's refreshing.
I like to think we cross fertilise each other's minds, even of we don't always understand what's going on.
I require solitude to replenish but Jim is wonderful to have around. He does his own thing and I do mine at home sometimes but we are always together emotionally
. He doesn't mind that I have interests he doesn't share nor do I mind that some of interests don't interest me. Thank you for your reply hartfire and Happy Thursday! :)
