Engaging in conversation always has the potential for achieving understanding. Providing the dialogue remains civil. Are you a fan?

It seems some folks have no desire to understand. It takes time sometimes to fully "get it". Patience too. Remaining polite during such a journey is what works best but some don't value it. Different strokes. :)

    Yes, I don't see the point in being mean to someone I disagree with....it will certainly not change a mind.

    Agreed. Thank you for your reply m2c and Happy Monday to thee. Some folks show up  precisely so they can be "mean" and at no other time. You know what I think of them? Exactly right. Not much! :(
