Harvey Weinstein, the current rich old fat sex pervert, apologized for his past actions. His lawyer says charges are false. Who lies here?

Guess the doofus lawyer didn't muzzle the doofus client. They didn't collude/conspire in advance to coordinate their lies. So the perp admits guilt and  apologizes to victims carte blance. The ambulance chaser says it's all lies and false and defamatory. Does the public unremember/disremember the Weinstein MEA CULPA? Can you put toothpaste back in the tube? What kinda cockamamie lawyer did Weinstein hire?

    They are going to amend the Constitution, didn't you hear?

    It's called the Bill Cosby/Michael Jackson clause.

    Meaning, if the world loves you enough, there is not any atrocity that you can commit that will not be forgiven.    And if you want to bring about charges, good luck.  When your career is destroyed and decades go by, you may get some legal action in your favor. Do not hold your breath.

     Yes I read that yesterday.  I'm sure if they can find a legal way to abrogate/rescind The Constitution entirely and just keep the second amendment  their job will be done. Just thought of a question. Thank you for your reply! :)

    No, it's called the Bill Clinton / John Edwards / Ted Kennedy / Tim Murphy / Gary Hart / Deny Hastert / Woodrow Wilson Amendment and it's aimed more at protecting the likes of its politician namesakes. It's been a long time in coming too but as Ted Kennedy put it to his paramour while driving around Chappaquiddick Island one balmy night in July 1969 "it's time we have to cross that bridge Mary Jo" . . .     I think this is mostly about MEN, not Democrats.  I think this is what happens when MEN reach power and this is what they dysfunctionally do to fill that emotional hole they need to penetrate.

    So, what do you want from me? I can't help it if it's the Democrats that are in the overwhelming majority for having low, or no moral ethics; those are the only names that I remember from past news reports. (Why DO you folks look to that "Party" for moral and ethical guidance anyway?) And by the way, Tim Murphy is a Republican when he's campaigning (they ALL suddenly switch to the Self-Aggrandizing and Self-Enrichment Party the day after they're elected), You're certainly welcome to add to the list. I'd actually like to see some of those names from "across the (non-existent) aisle". 

    And what about the women? Most of those philanderers that I mentioned didn't commit their transgressions while alone. Every female that was with one of them knew that they were committing adultery at the time. (I believe that all those men were married at the times they were with those "other women". No, the distaff side of that equation is more prone to getting those men into a compromising position and then resorting to blackmail. And again, if you have any female examples to add to that list please feel free to do so.
