He said he was not going to quit that day (yesterday). He said he had spoken to the prez and was assued he would not be fired that day (yesterday). He told reporters to be a little more careful about which sources they used to get the news. He was calm. He was articulate. He was sent out there to try to clean up the mess his charge keeps making just like others before him have done and others after him will do.
