    Sometimes I eat something because it looks so gross and I just want to see if it's really as gross as I imagined it would be.

    Well, if it at least doesn't smell as gross as it looks then I give it a chance. I won't eat something if I don't like the smell even if it looks appetizing. The smell tells more about the taste than the appearance.
