The Impeach Trump ad funded by Tom Steyer lists a couple of things he thinks are impeachable offenses. It's a start, right?

Per Steyer's  impeachment ad he alleges

Trump obstructed justice by firing James Comey. Trump admitted the firing had to do with the "Russia thing"

Trump is in direct violation of the Constitution because he's taken money from foreign governments (all his hotels and golf courses aren't free you know...folks pay money to be there and foreign government folks visit all the time)
AND Trump threatened violation of the First Amendment which occurred when he threatened to take away broadcast licenses because those stations don't suck up to him like Fox does.

Steyer also said Trump has brought us to the brink of nuclear war. I think he got that from Senator Bob Corker who said it first.

So reasons ARE provided in the ad that Steyer thinks are impeachable offenses. Whether the courts would agrees is TBD.

Comey should have been fired day 1...in fact Obama should have fired him for interfering in an election.
Trump waited until the DOJ recommended firing him.
Someone staying at a hotel or doing business with a Trump organization is not paying Trump...NOT a violation of the emuluments clause.
He mentioned the licenses because the "news" station has been caught lying. FCC should look into news organizations if they are reporting unsubstantiated allegations as fact. If they want to report that stuff fine but they do not get to be considered legitimate news. They can change to Inquirer Network.

The FCC has no power over "news stations" unless they're legitimate "over-the-air" broadcasters. Cable "news stations" are not "stations" in that sense.

Their "journalism" can be as yellow as the snow  -  that lies on the ground where the Huskies go.

The only thing protecting their "targets" are the libel and slander laws.
