According to Hippocrates, water therapy ‘allays lassitude’ (physical or mental weakness), does water affect you?

    He must have been referring to a specific idea because that can be disputed.  But water is crucial to me and most humans. 


    I don't know what he means by "water therapy".     Water can make you very weak and lazy as well as give you stamina and vitality.  Depending on what you are doing with water. If you swim too long, you will want to take a nap.  If you drink a cold glass of water after being thirsty, it will revitalize you.    What is it, Hippo, what are you talking about?

    Once, 
    in the mountains of Northern India
    on the banks of the Ganges River,
    the Ice cold Ganges River,
    moving at probably100 miles an hr,
    I did jump into it
