Do you HATE those in your political party who want to reach across the aisle and work together for a common goal? Why?

For the most part I do. It's one thing to reach across the aisle, it's another thing to just cave in.

No.  That is how we govern under a two party system.  Moderates on either side are our best hope.  The radicals in either direction are poison.

So, the bipartisan approach is the best, even when the common goal is to enact something detrimental to all of us. Politics may be the art of persuading someone to your viewpoint, but there's nothing in the book that says that in doing so you completely give away the farm.
