To combat charges of alleged pedophilia and also allegedly dating teenagers who were 17 and 18 REGULARLY (he said he always asked their mothers' permission first) when he was 32, what better way to show your innocence, how devotedly religious you are and imply that such a religiously devoted person could NEVER sexually abuse a 14-year-old CHILD when he was 32? That solves the problem doesn't it? All he has to do is quote bible verses 24/7 and say it's all lies and the faithful will believe whatever he tells them. SIGH. Give me that good old religion! Sure. Pull that rabbit out of the hat when you need it. It works every time with the religious folks. They can't believe such a religious and pure-of-heart person like Roy Moore would lie to them. I mean anyone who can quote Bible verses can't be bad, right? :(
