The absurd reality in which we dwell today could not have been imagined 5 years ago. How can anyone say anything is impossible?

I disagree.
I believe anyone paying attention would have seen this "absurd reality" coming from a mile off.  I know I did.
Not Trump specifically, but a charismatic, nationalistic leader.

After all: "Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it".
