Question about gifts from Muggers?

I received a gift ( cake for my birthday) from a mugger friend. Now I have it smack on my face in my profile picture. How can I remove it from there? I cannot find directions what to do with gifts. Help would be appreciated.

    there is something to click to 
    unpublished or for the gift
    not to be active...something like that
