A crypt keeper- what is that?

There was a television series called Tales From The Crypt.  Every week they would tell different creepy, scary, funny, stories.  The "host" of the series was The Crypt Keeper.  He was an animatronic puppet and a lot of fun.  Most of the time, he was the best part of the series.
