The SH** hit the fan. Trump tweeted he fired Flynn for lying to Pence. His lawyers says "I wrote those words". Liar or trutht eller?

Why would a lawyer say he tweeted words that were allegedly from Trump? Taking the heat for the Donald John? Is that a lawyerly thing to do? LIE LIE LIE to save y our client's a**? Where are the ethics in that? Are lawyers SUPPOSED TO LIE?
