Acting styles have changed over the years, and the remake I think was more realistically acted. But that's only my opinion. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at March 13, 2018 12:50 PM MDT

That's what I'm asking for Neelie. Your opinion. I didn't see the original or the remake so I have no opinion but I appreciate yours. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :)

Ocean's Eleven - the combination of actors was stellar. The story was creative and interesting.

You saw both versions and preferred the remake Lulu'sMom?  I always prefer the original of anything. It's new and fresh and original. A remake just rides on the coattails of what went before. It makes me think that the folks ran out of ideas and wanted to make money so they copied someone else's original idea. I guess it's a flaw! The acting may be "better" in the remake. The technical advances will surely be "better". But the freshness, the surprise, the creativity? Always goes to the original for me. Different strokes . Thank you for your reply! :) This post was edited by RosieG at March 14, 2018 9:59 AM MDT

There are some movies I feel that way about. Oceans 11 for one. No one can beat the Rat Pack.
