Why is it that doctors call what they do "practice"?

    It's for insurance purposes.  It allows them the flexibility to screw up on occasion without their premiums being raised.  Could you imagine what the rates would be if they called what they do "perfect?"

    LOL I know right. My doctor is over 80 years old and he could care less about getting sued. He is a good doctor. ;))
