Her outside is pretty jazzy snazzy but she is so darn likable, lovable. At least that is how I have always reacted to her. Any of you feel otherwise? Because?
Actually I met her back in the late 1970s. She was very nice and friendly. Never cared much for what she did with her looks. Well at least she got noticed.
LUCKY YOU! Wow! I just love her. Years ago before Jim and I met he had a friend who was friends with Dean Martin. So his friend invited him to go with him to a party at Dean's home. Jim says he was the nicest most down-to-earth unpretentious friendly guy you'd ever want to meet. They chatted quite awhile during the party and Jim said it was like talking to an old friend. That's kinda how I think Dolly is in person. Unpretentious. Down-to-earth. A real person not a public relations fake who is all full of herself. Thank you for sharing that og. Appearances are misleading. Both ways. :)
She was on a PR tour because as I recall that was when she was trying to become a popular music star as well as a country music star. Those things were different in those days. She was not pretentious at all. But big stars like that - they really have to play to the public so much of the time so they must have less private life. And I guess she was popular from when she was a teenager. I really have never envied them.
There is nothing about the woman's appearance to judge. I don't get what you are trying to say. She is a very classy, respected actress, and she is not dressed up like some salacious tart.
She is a Country and Western STAR not Miley Cyrus.
