It is essential for a good prez to have empathy/concern for and CARE about others The current one? You're joking, right? I hope Biden runs for prez in 2020. I don't care how old he is or will be then. I care only about whom he is.
Being able to sympathize, while admirable, is not found in my Top Ten list of qualifications for any office, especially the presidency. Evidently, during Biden's run for the White House, a lot of folks felt the same as he rarely polled more than 2% of the vote. Many people possess a tender attitude for those ill or incapacitated. I wouldn't elect them president though for many other important reasons.
I think Mr. Biden is a lovely man. But that's the problem, he's only human. Mankind needs a leader with super human abilities. To begin with we need a leader that will not die, nor grow old. "Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, who cannot bring salvation. His spirit goes out, he returns to the ground; on that very day his thoughts perish. (Psalms 146:3,4)
We deserve better than we have now Autumn. We deserve better. Maybe Trump is one of the trials and tribulation we shall have to experience. Maybe God is testing us to see how we react to such a one as Trump..what we say, what we do, what we think, how we feel. If so I will understand why Trump is the prez. If not I will never understand it. Thank you for your thoughtful reply. We all grow old and die. Imagine living forever? That would be he**! I'm gonna ask that question my friend. Well Rosie it certainly is a test of how much you trust in God's word. When the bible says that man is incapable of leading himself as well as others, the test for you is if now you will believe this counsel. The world wants to convince you that this isn't so. It is up to you as to who you will trust. You refuse to believe a better life is ahead, you say you deserve better yet when I quote to you from the bible that God's kingdom is about to intervene for the sake of the righteous you won't believe. God's word never fails; "you well know with all your heart and with all your soul that not one word out of all the good promises that Jehovah your God has spoken to you has failed. They have all come true for you. Not one word of them has failed." (joshua 23:14)There is ample proof of God's capacity to create a perfect world in the coming future. (Titus 1:2)
