    As soon as I get a new sewing machine (hint hint) my excess of stuff won't take up space any longer. I'll have the opportunity to make things for other people again. I have very little "junk".

    What I have a hard time parting with is old clothing.  It's so hard to find the $$ to buy it then it shrinks or stretches over the year and it doesn't fit any more.  But I just know that "one day" I'll be able to wear it again.

    Not "junk" but I do have a huge amount of belongings.

    I had a clear out recently though, and put about 3 carrier-bags of old paperwork in the salvage bin, and another bagful through the shredder! Plus 3 bags of clothes to the charity-shop.

    And I'm giving away 5 boxfuls of hobby magazines to a new home.
