When you book a taxi and they ask for your name, do you give your Christian name or your family name?

    I would use my surname.  The driver may call me Ms. Maid. :)

  • I do too but they always look at me funny. I have an unusual surname though.

  • I only booked a taxi once, and I'm sure I gave my first name. When I say it people are sometimes like "Kevin?". "Nevan" is not very common.
