Instead of PUBLICLY confronting Russia about their meddling in our election the prez continues to deny it ever happened. So it continue?

The prez takes an oath to uphold the Constitution..to preserve and protect the nation. How does ignoring a confirmed and present danger do that? While he denies and ignores and refuses to admit Russia gets emboldened knowing full  well that the Donald John is on their side in whatever endeavor that have interests in. According to some  folks dare not discuss Russia in the presence of the Donald John. It makes very angry. So they try to give him info indirectly. They write it down. He says he doesn't read. So behind his back they try to keep our country safe but at some point they can go no further. The Donald John sits in his little bubble creating trouble and doing nothing to STOP the obvious danger Russia presents. A president is supposed to be our leader. A leader is supposed to do what's right for the country and the people. How is letting Russia have its way with us in every regard doing that?

    That biz about Russia "meddling" came out before the election and was part of a strategy to turn voters against Trump.  Which apparently failed according to votes cast.  What Trump had always denied was not that Russia "meddled" but that he had nothing to do with it.  In fact Russia has always sought to use whatever intelligence they could obtain to embarrass and discredit the U.S. no matter who was in or running for office.  So then to save face the accusers had start an "investigation" which they widened by bringing other issues in which they could point to ANY fellowship with Russian officials!   Which on the face of it is absurd - why should Trump even care about Russia?  Let alone respect any of them?  I mean seriously - if some Russian told you who to vote for would you immediately go out and do what they told you?  But this investigation (which really exists only to discredit and destroy) will continue probably as long as Trump is around.  Just like those investigating Obama and Clinton formerly did. Why would you even be so concerned about Russia as a "threat"?  Are they going to take us over any time soon or kill us?  The threat to U.S. is from Islamic terrorists.
