Evil often masquerades as angel. Unless you're braindead you recognize it when you see it. Evil often triumphs and folks cheer it on. Why?

We have a "situation".  A gaggle/pride/bunch of blokes will pass a bill that grievously harms/injures folks. Millions will suffer because of it. The ones who will benefit are the already obscenely wealthy. They will get the money they don't need when the social safety net programs that most of us rely on are gutted to pay for the extravagant lifestyles of the already rich and famous. Now of course the conspirators who pass it and those who benefit from it don't regard it as evil at all. They regard it as their just due. 83% of the payoff will go to the top 1%(the obscenely wealthy). So do you think they are evil or just doing what they have to do to survive? The obscenely wealthy engaged in extortion. They threatened the hapless spineless pols that they would pull all campaign contributions if they didn't get what they demanded. The toady pols believed them and rolled over and did their bidding. So on a scale of 1-10 how evil is this, how evil are they, and should they roast in he** (if there is one) for eternity because of it or do you admire them and think they're angels sent by God to deliver the obscenely wealthy from all their tribulations?
