Books are VERY DANGEROUS unless they are on a controlled approved* list . Why? Because that's where ideas are found. Scary, right?

*The approvals are controlled by the thought patrol that governs everything. They are the ones who determine what is true and what is not so you don't ever have to worry your pretty/handsome little head about thinking bad thoughts. You just swallow the pre-approved fodder that others have chewed for you. No indigestion from doing that. You get the benefit of the digestive juices released by their chewing. Easy peasy. Sleazy too but what the he**! Nothing's perfect. :(

    You know that despot dictators CONTROL the he** outta their citizens. Some own the news shows so only approved information is dispensed. If you control what people think and limit them you own them and you do with them whatever the he** you wish. If any get out of line they just disappear one year or  have a fatal "accident". Get rid of dissent. SIGH. Thank you for your reply LC and Happy Saturday to thee. Which is worse? Book burning or blocking information from ever reaching the public? Tossup?

    Nothing wrong with books or speakers of different views. Too bad our universities don't believe that anymore, with safe spaces and free speech zones...and then Antifa etc burning conservative books and destroying property because they don't like a speaker.
    It is very worrying for the future.

    Despot Dictators control whatever information reaches the public. Some governments OWN the media and only approved information is disseminated. Your prez  had a few meetings with Russians that American journalists were unaware of and blocked from covering. We discovered them via RUSSIAN news outlets with pictures no less. Your prez is very controlling you know. It is very worrying for the future. Thank you for your reply m2c.

    Trump's meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was not a secret meeting no one knew about....it was a announced meeting that was closed to the American Press.
