Ever been fired via FEDEX letter? That crumbumb donjohn did when he fired the remainng 16 members of the HIV/AIDS Council. Chickensh**?

I understand that a new administration wants their own people in place, however, when Obama became president, he reconstituted the HIV/AIDS Council.  Will Trump reconstitute it or disband it?

The only thing I found was that replacements had not been named...nothing said would not be named.

I guess we'll find out soon enough although I wouldn't be at all surprised if the council is disbanded permanently.

No, he fired the Obama appointees same as Obama fired the Bush appointees. I can find no article claiming President Trump is not planning to fill the council with his own appointments.

Please, show me a link that says Trump disbanded the council and is not planning appointments. Or is this more fake news?

Obama, like previous administrations, put in his own people, but not before the members had served their full terms.

In addition, the Council members are not paid.  They act in an advisory capacity, so there shouldn't be any reason for the Council not to be fully staffed other than that Trump couldn't care less about this health subject.  Considering that Trump has not filled about 300 government positions yet, I'm sure this will be on the back burner.

Trump’s termination of council members isn’t the first time an administration cleaned house on PACHA. The Obama administration eliminated all of George W. Bush’s appointees before making new appointments.

Kaye Hayes, executive director of PACHA, affirmed the council members were terminated on Wednesday, but said there’s more to the story.

“They were also thanked for their leadership, dedication and commitment to the effort,” Hayes said. “Changing the makeup of federal advisory committee members is a common occurrence during Administration changes. The Obama administration dismissed the George W. Bush administration appointees to PACHA in order to bring in new voices. All PACHA members are eligible to apply to serve on the new council that will be convened in 2018.”

If it planned to be disbanded, why ask for new nominations? You may disagree with President Trump's timing but that does not mean it is disbanded.

I didn't say that the council is being disbanded.  You stated that Trump terminated the council members the same way Obama terminated Bush's council members.  What I pointed out to you was that Obama terminated Bush's members AFTER their terms were finished.

I don't care about the timing. It is not being disbanded as Rosie claimed. So it was as I said Fake News.
