I think that 20 late night comedians are making millions, even billions being obsessed.  Is this meant to be shameful?  Are we being chastised for noting on a daily basis the behavior of the most dangerous person in American History?

Then I'm obsessed.  And I am not ashamed.  I am horrified.  I cannot believe you are not.  You are more concerned about attacking Rosie.

I don't know if you are among the obscenely wealthy or just wealthy. That is none of my business. But my Jim and I RELY on Medicare and Social Security to get by. There is also Medicaid that is for the very poor . Paul Ryan's goal this year is to attack our social safety nets. In order to "pay for" the $1.5 trillion addition to the deficit he and h is spineless toadies have to cut some existing programs. Guess which programs? You're a smart cookie. Guess. So  if Social Security and Medicare is severely reduced guess what that does to Jim and me and millions of others just like us? Right. We rent. We can't afford to buy a home so we rent. We live modestly withinour means but those means CONSIST OF SOCIAL SECURITY and MEDICARE. In 2008  I got cancer and MEDICARE saved my life. I was 70. Had I been too young for Medicare I would be dead. Doofus don will sign any legislation that the GOP spineless cruel toadies place before him. Anything. Paul Ryan is counting on that to get his cuts in those programs that help us seniors live. Now you want me to be silent about this? Why? Because it offends you? Wel my life and Jim's life and millions of other lives are at stake here and i f you are offended then you don't understand the problem. If you don't  understand the problem any comments you make are uninformed, ill-advised and partisan. I report what is going on. Calling me out for it makes sense you but means nothing to me. If  doofus don stop doing/saying what he does/says I will have nothing to report. However we both know tweeting is his passion and raison d'etre! Remember he insists he is a STABLE GENIUS. No, Rosie, saying Trump "lusts" for Clinton is not "reporting". And I have never said you cannot speak your mind. Never.

I do think your dire predictions are both overstated and unrealistic, however. The Republicans had vowed to repeal the ACA since 2010...how'd they do? And that failure was despite controlling both houses and the WH.

2018 is a mid-term election year with 469 seats in play. How do you think that'll play if SS/Medicare is cut? Older voters are more likely to vote overall, as well as in midterms. Baby Boomers, which account for about 23.5% of the population, either already are retired, or will soon hit retirement age...some 10,000 more retire daily. No, I do not see a gutting of SS/Medicare on the horizon.

 One overstates for emphasis B. One uses hyperbole to get attention. Plain direct simple basic talk goes unnoticed. You have to get their attention and you do not get it by being a gray little sparrow who is afraid of her shadow. You get it by trying to be colorful to get attention. I am not making that up. I think it is disgusting and evil. To do that on the backs of the poor? Now am I making that up or I am stating the truth of what is? When you ***** about the obscenely wealthy getting tax breaks on the backs of the poor you seem to ignore the fact that the poor aren't paying taxes to begin with. Since you never venture outside your corner, you missed the analogy Stu recently posted about taxpayers. It was a good one. When our tax system is such that wealthy businesses and individuals move their operations and money overseas, how exactly does that help the poor here?
